When can you enroll and/or make changes to your coverage?
Many Medicare Beneficiaries assume that they may only make changes during the Annual Election Period (AEP). Although this may be the case for most of Maine’s Medicare Beneficiaries, it is not the case for all. In some cases this is determined by the type of plan you are currently enrolled in. In other cases it is determined by a Special Election Period (SEP) or Initial Election Period (IEP).
